Everything parents need to know about daily life at our kindergarten.

Learning Experiences

What kind of curriculum do you follow?

A play-based early years curriculum that builds language, numeracy, creativity and social skills through hands-on activities, stories and songs.

Do you have a special designated playground?

Yes. Our fenced outdoor playground has separate areas for babies, toddlers and older children, with soft surfaces and shaded spots.

What arrangements are there for lunch times?

We serve a freshly prepared, balanced lunch and two snacks every day, and we cater for allergies and dietary needs on request.

Will my child be playing with bigger kids?

Children spend most of the day with their own age group. Older and younger groups meet for shared activities under close supervision.

What happens if my child gets sick or hurt?

All our teachers are first-aid trained. We care for your child straight away and call you immediately so you can decide on next steps.

What are your afternoon pick up procedures?

Pick-up is between 3:00 and 6:00 pm. Children are only handed to parents or adults you have authorised in advance.

Do you have formal parent / teacher interviews?

Yes, twice a year, plus daily notes and photos and an open door whenever you want to chat with your child's teacher.

What is the timetable for each of the groups?

Each group follows a gentle routine of free play, circle time, outdoor play, lunch, rest and creative activities, adapted to their age.
