Biography
From a small-town choir to stages across the country.
Music has always been home
It started with a choir and a borrowed guitar.
Nour Deeb wrote her first song at fourteen and played it at every open-mic night that would have her. By twenty she was opening for touring bands, and her debut EP sold out at the merch table long before it reached the radio.
Finding her own sound
Her albums mix soul, pop and a touch of jazz, recorded live with the same six-piece band she still tours with. The songs are personal: love, distance, the cities she has left and the people who brought her back.
Today she splits her time between the studio and the road, playing more than sixty shows a year and still answering fan letters herself.
When I sing, I want the room to feel like one voice. That moment is why I keep going back on stage.— Nour Deeb, Singer and songwriter
