About me
Thriller novelist, film writer and lifelong reader.
Tariq Hamdan
Thriller novelist and award-winning author
Tariq Hamdan's novels have been translated into more than twenty languages, and two of them have been adapted for television.
I wrote my first story at nine, on the back of my school notebooks, and never stopped. After years as a journalist I published my debut thriller, which went on to win a national crime fiction award.
Today I divide my time between writing novels, working on screenplays and meeting readers at festivals and libraries.
“Every story begins with a question I can't stop asking.”
— Tariq Hamdan
